Matador Resources Company is an independent energy company engaged in the exploration, development, production, and acquisition of oil and natural gas resources in the United States. It focuses primarily on unconventional plays in the Delaware Basin in Southeast New Mexico and West Texas, as well as operations in the Haynesville shale and Cotton Valley plays in Northwest Louisiana. The company also provides midstream services such as natural gas processing, oil transportation, and produced water disposal to support its operations and serve third parties.
