Erie Indemnity Company acts as the attorney-in-fact for policyholders at the Erie Insurance Exchange, a reciprocal insurer that provides property and casualty insurance. Erie Indemnity performs policy issuance, renewal, claims handling, investment management, and administrative services for the Exchange and its insurance subsidiaries.
