About CENTERPOINT ENERGY INC

CenterPoint Energy is a public utility holding company that owns and operates electric transmission, distribution, and generation facilities, as well as natural gas distribution systems. Its subsidiaries serve electric transmission customers and retail electric providers in the Texas Gulf Coast area, operate natural gas distribution systems in Minnesota, Texas, Indiana, and Ohio, and provide energy delivery services to electric and natural gas customers in southwestern Indiana. The company serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers primarily through its Houston Electric and CERC subsidiaries.
