Prairie Operating Co. is an independent oil and natural gas company that acquires and develops crude oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids primarily in Weld County, Colorado, within the Denver–Julesburg Basin. The company manages two main asset groups, the Central Weld Assets and the Genesis Assets, which together cover approximately 68,000 net leasehold acres. Prairie Operating Co. focuses on drilling and developing wells, acquiring additional assets, and using technology to improve production efficiency while maintaining environmental and regulatory compliance.
