Mid America Apartment Communities Inc. (MAA) is a real estate investment trust that owns, operates, acquires, and develops apartment communities primarily in the Southeast, Southwest, and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. The company manages over 300 apartment communities with more than 103,000 units across 16 states and the District of Columbia. MAA serves residential tenants by providing multifamily housing and focuses on property management, development, and redevelopment to maintain and grow its portfolio.
