Krystal Biotech, Inc. is a biotechnology company that develops and commercializes genetic medicines using a proprietary gene therapy platform based on engineered herpes simplex virus-1. Its main commercial product, VYJUVEK, is an approved gene therapy for treating dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic skin disease, and is available in the United States, Europe, and Japan.
